About Cod Fish Knives & Boards

My name is Donald Pearcey, and I have been crafting knives for about a decade. My passion for knives began early; I bought my first hunting knife at he age of 12, and I still have it to this day. As a woodworker for over 30 years of experience, I've honed my skills, which extends to producing cutting boards and charcuterie boards.

Initially I made knives just for family and friends, but my craft has grown significantly since then. Today I create a wide range of knives, including custom commisions.

Although retired from my 9 to 5 job, my passion for creating remains strong. By merging woodworking and knife-making, I craft unique, handmade products that people use every day. Every knife and board I make is one-of-a-kind.

I run a one-man operation, with the gracious assistance of my wife, who handles paperwork and produces board oil bottles and conditioner.
